I Need Help.
If you are in need of assistance, The Period Pantry provides a week’s worth of menstrual supplies to those in need.
Please note, our organization is not set up to accommodate emergency requests - we provide products on a rotating, location-based schedule. If you are in need of emergency assistance with menstrual products, please contact 2-1-1 or God’s Hygiene.

About your delivery
When you submit your request, you will receive your delivery the following month. The deadline to submit is 11:59pm on the last day of the month.
We deliver on a location-based schedule. The map below is approximate and will change monthly depending on demand. Please note that this is subject to change at any time, and it does not apply to any deliveries that are shipped.
If you have any questions about which area of town we would consider you please email us at info@theperiodpantryproject.org.
This is not a recurring service. The form needs to be filled out monthly, if needed (for delivery the following month).
In March of 2025, we will deliver the 2nd through the 5th weekends (no deliveries the weekend of March 1).
For other FAQ, please see below.
This map is approximate but it is fluid and will change every month in order to even out our deliveries. If we receive your request, you’ll get an email from us (either Melanie or Jill) on the first day of the month if we’ve received your request. That email will confirm your delivery weekend.
If you are requesting as an organization or group, please see our partner page here.
FAQs
Who is eligible to request products from The Period Pantry?
Anyone in Franklin County (Columbus) Ohio area that needs them. We do need a residence to deliver to, and a way to contact you. Our form is currently only in English.
What is required to receive a menstrual product delivery?
All we need is our form filled out with the details of what you need, your address and phone number, and a few other optional demographic questions (those questions help us get funding).
We do require households to place the request, and ask caseworkers to not fill it out on behalf of their client.
What if I don’t have a permanent address?
That’s okay, but please explain that on the form. You are welcome to use someone else’s address for a delivery if they are ok with that, or we can share our packing event details with you. Those are twice a month at libraries, so you could pick up from there.
If you have any further questions about this, please reach out to info@theperiodpantryproject.org and we will help you!
When will I receive my delivery?
We operate on a location-based delivery schedule. If you have any questions about your request, email info@theperiodpantryproject.org for more information. You will receive an email on the first of every month letting you know what your delivery weekend is, and another email closer to then with what day your volunteer will deliver.
How often can I receive menstrual products?
Each household can request products monthly.
How many people in my household can I request products for?
We limit households to 5 menstruators. If you have a household larger than that, please email info@theperiodpantryproject.org. We also request the names and birthdates of those receiving product, so we are not duplicating requests.
What do I receive?
You will receive a quantity of 28 products. We group them by pads (regular, and/or heavy absorbency) and tampons (regular, and/or heavy absorbency). We usually also have menstrual cups, discs, and washable pads available by request. The availability of liners and light tampons fluctuates, and are offered when available.
Can I request a certain brand or type?
We will always give you the requested product and absorbency, but we cannot accommodate brand preferences.
What if I have a sensitivity or allergy to a certain product?
Unfortunately we are not set up to be able to accommodate product preferences.
